                                      Andrew Lang, PhD 简 介
       Andrew Lang，英属哥伦比亚大学（University of British Columbia）2000年微生物学与免疫学博士（PhD of Microbiology and Immunology），现为Memorial University of Newfoundland生物系博士生导师，American Society for Microbiology会员。在国际刊物上发表论文26篇，其中在Nature杂志发表文章1篇(第2作者), Science杂志发表文章1篇(第3作者)。
       Dr Lang实验室目前研究方向有三个：一是噬菌体介导的细菌间的基因转移；二是野生鸟类携带的禽流感病毒的遗传变异研究；三是野生动物中布尼亚病毒的流行病学研究。实验室室目前承担联邦政府基金两项(Discovery Grant from NSERC, the Leaders Opportunity Fund from the Canada Foundation for Innovation)、省政府基金三项( the Industrial Research and Innovation Fund from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador), 部分研究与纽芬兰省自然资源局（Department of Natural Health）的Animal Health Division合作进行。
